The Myths of Maternity Photography

  • I hear the best time to get mommy to be photography is 34-38 weeks
    No this is not true. All moms are unique and many of our mommy pictures start at 18-20 months. This is why we offer a free consolation to all of our clients, so you know the perfect time for you.
  • I can wait until I’m closer to my due date to book my session.
    Not a good idea, we book our sessions based on availability. When we’re booked we’re booked. By setting up your session early, you’re guaranteed to have a session slot reserved for you.
  • I can only have one outfit on the deluxe maternity session
    False, we allow multiple outfits, poses and props during all of our sessions.
  • My stretch marks and other imperfections will look bad.
    No, this is not the case. We use creative lighting and many of our photographs don’t need any other retouching; basic retouching, if needed, is included in our sessions at no additional cost.
  • I have other children or dad wants to be in my photographs.
    Yes, we encourage dad or siblings to be in your session. These are a once in a lifetime portraits and will be treasured for generations.
